Katie Bennett

Katelyn Bennett is a PhD candidate in English and an instructor in Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies. They hold an M.A. in Folk Studies as well as a B.A. in English for Secondary Teachers, both from Western Kentucky University. Their master’s research primarily focused on Appalachian women’s ghost storytelling traditions and Kentucky history. They have presented at the annual meetings of the American Folklore Society and the International Society for Contemporary Legend Research.
