Sloane Cheesebrough is a first-year PhD student in linguistics. Their research interests all land within the realm of lavender linguistics, and include perceptual dialectology of LGBTQ+ speech. Their two main research projects are on LGBTQ+ slurs and perceptions of neopronouns.
