I am a PhD student in Gender and Women's Studies (GWS) focusing on feminist and LGBT activism and identity in Israel. My Master’s thesis was a comparative study of contemporary historical writings on same-sex sexuality and LGBT activists in the Middle East. My dissertation work will focus on how queer women in Israel create activist communities and understand their place of belonging within those communities.
